Ronaldo wins the Saudi league for Al Nassr with his second hat-trick in 3 days.
Ronaldo has scored the most goals in the Saudi league, with 29, but Al Nassr is 12 points behind Al Hilal in the standings.
In the Saudi Pro League, Cristiano Ronaldo scored his second hat-trick in as many days as Al Nassr defeated Abha 8-0.
The nine-time Saudi Arabian champions on Tuesday saw the five-time Ballon d’Or winner score three goals and dish out two assists in the first half.
His hat-trick came after his triple in Saturday’s 5-1 victory against Al Tai. It was his third of the league season. With 29 goals, the striker from Portugal is the league leader.
On Tuesday, Ronaldo scored his first two goals from free kicks. He opened the score with a low shot from a central position just beyond the area with 11 minutes remaining. Ten minutes later, he made the second move, curling the ball around the wall from the left side.
Shortly after the half-hour mark, Ronaldo helped Al Nassr score their third goal by dragging the ball back from the left for the former Liverpool attacker to score.
With a stunning chip from beyond the area as he raced towards goal, Ronaldo sealed the hat-trick three minutes before the half. Ronaldo still had enough time in the first half to slide the ball to his right so Abdulmajeed Al-Sulayhim could score from close range for an open goal.

Al Nassr kept locating the target even after the star was launched during the intermission. Shortly after the resumption, Saudi Arabian international Abdulrahman Ghareeb added a sixth goal, and Abdulaziz Al-Aliwa, a replacement, added two more.
Even after the victory, Al Nassr is still in second place with eight games left, 12 points behind the clear leaders Al Hilal.
Al Hilal revealed earlier in the day that Aleksandar Mitrovic, a striker who now trails only Cristiano Ronaldo with 22 goals, is probably going to miss the remainder of the season due to injury.
